The Big Picture Calendar – Winter 2024

It’s cozy season, friends! I don’t know about you, but it finally feels like fall here in Iowa. All of October was pretty warm, dry, and buggy here in Iowa! It was not my favorite, and I found it hard to transition into the next season. But, alas, it is November! And November marks a time to get prepped and ready for the winter months, starting with the Big Picture Calendar – Winter 2024!

Skip the rest and ORDER NOW (it’s okay, you won’t hurt my feelings if you don’t read the rest of this post)!

Let’s consider this month NO-vember. Here’s why, and how it relates to the Winter 2024 Big Picture Calendar…

It’s no secret that November and December are real busy for families. Just so-much-stuff-to-do-be-and-see. It’s a lot. This is why you need to get the Big Picture Calendar! Getting as much of the “winter activities and holidays”mental-load out of your head and onto paper for your whole family to see will help you manage your stress and well-being.

Consider it the brain dump of all brain dumps because you lay it all out, and can see things spread out across an entire season, not just a never-ending list of to-dos. Plus, it’s cute!

To wrap this all up (because we all know you don’t have time to read about how little time you have – ha!), I want to encourage you to use your Winter 2024 Big Picture Calendar as a permission slip to say NO(vember)! Once your family life is on paper in calendar form, it’s so easy to see where you’ll need downtime. You need to take this opportunity to say “no” to more obligations. ‘No’ is a complete sentence, friends. You don’t need to explain anything. Just simply say, “No, I/we don’t have time for that in our schedule right now. Thanks!”

If I’ve learned one thing as a parent the last few years, it’s that you can’t do everything during the holidays. It’s just too much. Make a short list of your favorite activities and traditions and add them to your (Big Picture) calendar! 😉 Then let go of the rest, and allow yourself to be present to enjoy all the things you are doing!

Okay, that’s my pitch. I’m done now! I look forward to working with you on your Winter 2024 Big Picture Calendar!
